West Coast Pickleball Privacy Policy and General Terms
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OUR SERVICES OR FACILITIES
By voluntarily providing your information to West Coast Pickleball (“WCPB,” “we,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Privacy Policy and General Terms. You also consent to our use of your contact information to communicate with you via email, telephone, text messages, or other means, including automated technologies, using the details you provide.
We have established policies to ensure the safe, enjoyable, and efficient use of our facilities and services. These terms apply to all members, guests, and visitors while using WCPB premises, facilities, or services, including indoor and outdoor courts, event spaces, parking lots, and any other related areas.
General Terms and Conditions
- Your use of West Coast Pickleball facilities and services constitutes agreement to these terms.
- West Coast Pickleball reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Updates will be available at wcpb.com/privacy-policy, and users are responsible for reviewing them regularly.
- Violations of these terms may result in suspension or termination of access to WCPB facilities and services.
Cancellation and Refund Policies
Memberships
- Memberships are annual and non-refundable.
- Memberships will auto-renew unless canceled prior to the next billing cycle. A courtesy reminder will be sent before renewal.
- Membership privileges, including discounted rates and priority bookings, are active immediately upon registration and are not eligible for refunds upon cancellation.
Court Reservations
Court reservations must be canceled or rescheduled:
Emerald Members: 48 hours in advance to avoid a $30/hour no-show fee.
Gold Members and General Members: 24 hours in advance for a refund.
Reservations canceled within the specified period can be rescheduled, but refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late cancellations.
Private Events
- Cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance to qualify for a refund.
- For cancellations within 14 days, rescheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed, and no refund will be issued.
- No refunds or rescheduling options are available for cancellations within 48 hours of the event.
Health and Safety
Your safety is our top priority. However, West Coast Pickleball cannot guarantee the elimination of all risks, including injury, illness, or accidents associated with using our facilities or participating in our services and activities. By engaging in any WCPB activity, you confirm that you are physically and mentally capable and accept all associated risks.
Assumption of Risk
Using West Coast Pickleball facilities, equipment, and services comes with inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Physical Injuries: Sprains, fractures, heat stress, concussions, or other physical harm.
- Accidents: Slips, trips, equipment failures, or collisions.
- Property Loss or Damage: Theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks and agree that WCPB is not liable for any injuries or damages.
Waiver of Liability
By using WCPB facilities or services, you release and waive all claims against West Coast Pickleball for any injuries, damages, or losses, including those caused by negligence. This waiver applies to all users, including members, guests, and their families or representatives.
Pro-Shop Purchases
All sales are final. Demos and samples are available to test paddles and other products before purchase. Refunds or exchanges may be granted solely at WCPB’s discretion for unused and unopened products. For used items, manufacturer warranties will apply, and proof of purchase will be provided to facilitate warranty claims.

- Name, email address, phone number, and payment information during account creation, reservations, or purchases.

1. Facilitate your reservations, memberships, and purchases.
2. Communicate important updates about our services or promotions.
3. Improve user experience and optimize our facilities and services.
4. Fulfill legal and regulatory obligations.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may only be shared with trusted partners or service providers to:
- Process transactions securely (e.g., payment processors).
- Conduct internal analytics or improve our offerings.
- Comply with legal requirements or respond to lawful requests.

WCPB implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. While we strive to protect your data, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws, including:
- Accessing the personal data we hold about you.
- Requesting corrections or updates to your information.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Lost and Found
West Coast Pickleball is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
- Found items will be stored for two weeks in the lost and found.
- After two weeks, unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.
- High-value items, such as wallets or phones, will be securely stored and require identification for retrieval.
Photo and Video Release
By entering WCPB facilities or participating in activities, you grant West Coast Pickleball the unrestricted right to use photographs or videos of you or your guests for marketing, promotional, or social media purposes. No compensation or royalties will be provided for such use.
Changes to Policies
West Coast Pickleball reserves the right to amend or update these terms at its discretion without prior notice. Updated policies will be posted on wcpb.com/privacy-policy and are effective immediately.
